Sea Caves
On the way to P.E.I. we stopped at St. Martins in NB. There are sea caves there that we explored.
There were two caves like this that we went in to. They are caused by physical erosion by the ocean.
Some smaller caves we didn't try to get into. St. Martin's is right no the Bay of Fundy but the water must be warmer at this point as some people were wading.
The caves were SO neat. It was really stoney though so Monica couldn't get down.
When we went to the sea caves I saw lots of fishing boats up on dry land but when we left the village they were back in water again. That was neat.
Anna-Lee's word - "Picturesque."
There was also a covered bridge in St. Martins which was fun to drive thorugh and walk thorugh.
I (Monica) liked stopping at Confederation Bridge. on the New Brunswick side. It is so long (12 km). Once on it you can't stop. You also can't really tell you are on a bridge other than that there is water on both sides.
There is a pathway to walk right under the bridge.
The sign at the Bridge said there is a bird (Scoter) that is very confused about the bridge. They won't fly over the bridge unless they go very very high or at night.
We arrived to our cottage last night around 8 p.m. Anna-Lee has already met some children from the cottage next door and is out playing with them.
Our wheelchair accessible cottage we will be staying at for the next week while in P.E.I.
Those caves look sooo cool!!

Thanks for the pictures of your journey to PEI. You are having lots of great adventures. The cottage looks very nice, and I hope that it works for everyone.
